Sip on delicious drinks and sample tasting flights that tell the stories of the Fortress through beers and ciders developed in partnership with local breweries.

Indulge in a small selection of finger foods as you take in the unique ambiance of this historic tavern. With its prime location and delicious offerings, the Storehouse Tavern is the perfect place to unwind and experience the history and flavours of the Fortress of Louisbourg. On special days, tap your toes to local music, or test your skills with 18th-century games.

Your visit won’t be complete without a sample of Fortress™ Rum which is aged at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site! Did you know that rum was the most popular drink in this 18th century town? Learn more about the fascinating history of this strong spirit at the Rum Exhibit. You can even see original bottles that were excavated from the site!

Purchaser will receive a voucher to be redeemed for the taster of their choice. Present your voucher to your server at Storehouse Tavern to redeem your taster experience.  Your server will check your ID prior to serving your tasting experience. Redeem anytime from 11am to 4pm at Storehouse Tavern in Bigot Building on the day of your visit.  Recipients purchasing a voucher must be 19+ and must show ID upon redemption.

This program operates from June 26, 2023 to September 30, 2023. All pre-purchases are final and no refunds will be given.  Pre-purchases are valid for the date indicated with this code and must be redeemed on that date.
