The Fortress Louisbourg Association, in partnership with Parks Canada, will be offering the Fife and Drum Spring Training Program beginning June 26th, 2024. All students between the ages of 10 & 16 are invited to register for this unique program. Previous musical experience or participation in the Children’s and Apprentice Programs is not required.

Includes: 6 full-day classes. 18th-century music booklet. One practice fife. One set of practice drum sticks. Family Membership to the Fortress Louisbourg Association.

*Lunch not provided. Fridge and microwave accessible to students.

Beginner: $50

Experienced: $40 (already have practice fife and drum sticks from previous participation.)

Please note: participants must have attended the Fife and Drum Spring Training Program in order to join the Fife and Drum Core during the summer months, both as volunteers and paid employees.

Due to this there will be a limited number of spaces available and pre-registration is mandatory.
