Description
Our Children’s Animation Program aims to capture a hands-on historical learning experience with fun, creativity, exploration, and games to participants.
For one week in the summer, from Monday to Friday, children will sing traditional folk songs, play games, make crafts, interact with other animators, and even eat authentic 18th-century snacks! 3-days out of the week will be spent wearing 18th-century clothing and learning what kept children busy and learning 300 years ago.

– Natural Fabric Dyeing
– Nautical Knot Tying
– The Messenger: A Virtual Reality Experience
Other Information:
– Optional purchase of professional pictures will be available. More information to follow.
– A family admission punch card of 5 free entries will be included in a welcome package.
– Snacks will be provided, but lunch will not be provided.

To enroll in the children’s program, children must be members of the Fortress Louisbourg Association, be between the ages of 5 and 12, and have completed at least one year of primary school.
